We do this mostly because we love the game of poker and want to support local poker players. So eventually we’ll include the following content for our visitors:

In order to accomplish these goals, we’ve set up an initial structure for the site that’s aimed at poker players who are looking for a place to play in the USA. These pages are organized by state, and they include listings for every casino cardroom offering poker that we’re aware of. Also, if you want to list your home poker game or your local poker game on any of these pages so that other may find poker games in your area, please let us know. We have no plans to charge fees for these listings.

There’s a lot involved in planning and hosting any kind of poker games: finding a poker table, finding a dealer for the game, setting up snacks and/or refreshments, hiring a waitress, etc. Knowing what the laws are regarding local poker games in your area is also something you should do before hosting a game.
